Job Description

Our client is a respected brand in global Telecommunications and lead the way in mobility solutions. They are driving multiple projects across Australia and require an experienced Field Operations Manager to manage a multi-faceted team and own the Telecom Implementation process when they deliver Rollout projects. 

As the Regional Field State Manager you will be accountable for executing operational delivery for Field Operations. Field Operations consists of non-centralised activities, primarily maintenance & upgrades and includes the following functions; Telecom, i.e. Fixed & Mobile, and non-Telecom functions, preventive maintenance delivery of Telecommunications services for mobile Operators. 

Responsibilities and Experience Needed 

Forecasting and Management of Resource and Capability.
Experience in the managed Services, preferably VHA, Telstra or Optus
Managing Field teams of Techs, Riggers, Site Controllers, Field Managers circa 20
Ensures Field Operations processes and procedures are enforced, regularly reviewed and updated
Own the Drop of Point process working closely with the logistics team and assume responsibility for efficient ordering of all Telecom Implementation equipment and site materials
Ensures that Field Operations delivery management is based on factual and verified Volumes and forecasts e.g. Trouble Tickets, Work Orders, Network Element/Site count (for the applicable part of the project scope)
Work closely within a team including daily progress and project meetings and report to the project manager regarding changes to original implementation planning
Controlling, reporting and optimising services delivery in alignment with relevant Project Management processes e.g. time management, cost management, scope management.
Provides Field Operations reporting to Service Business Managers and is responsible for all Field Operations reporting including supporting outage reporting and management of follow-up actions
External partners (e.g. subcontractors, contractors, 3rd party) 
Responsible for Field Operations escalations and escalation liaison
Strong relationship skills working with key contacts within the customer organisation, our client's team and associated sub-contractors.
