Job Description

Security Engineer required to work for an ASX listed company that operate globally working on a successful and growing SaaS platform.

Be part of an internationally growing Saas platform that work with some of the biggest brands out there. This is a important position within the company where you will be required to carry out regular log and alert analysis, conduct penetration testings and contribute to the improvement of the business. 

This is a very lean, innovative and fast moving environment and the culture is second to none - everyone collaborates and offers support when and where needed.

You responsibilities for the role are as follows:
  • 3+ years of experience in the information security field
  • Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, network fundamentals, and Internet protocols
  • Extensive knowledge of security threats, attack vectors, security best practices and tools
  • Experience in log management and analysis, intrusion detection and incident response
  • Experience performing vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
  • Experience and knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Good understanding of common information security frameworks or standards such as   ISO27001
  • Scripting and programming skills is a plus  
Essential requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 10 years of IT experience with 3 + years of IT security experience, ideally within a software product environment 
  • Designed, implemented and monitored security programs for cloud based systems - AWS
  • Ideally experience with SDLC
