Large NSW Government Department are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Web/Digital Analyst to help identify and track digital measures and set-up reporting across Google Data Studio, their social platform and map out content and engagement KPIs. 

This complex and rewarding role will work directly with the Director of Engagement/Content and Director of Digital Services to drive progress towards a strategic objective to be Australia's top education system
Main Responsibilities include:
  • Identify, report and analyse KPIS across DET digital properties
  • Use data and best practices to make recommendations for stakeholders to optimize the customer journey across our sites and digital marketing channels
  • Develop a picture of the user data which can be used to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and maintain ongoing reporting to be delivered to the division and stakeholders
  • Leverage new industry trends, best practices, and the evolving analytics landscape
  • Bachelors or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience with web analytics
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
  • Must have strong quantitative analysis skills and advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with relevant Key Performance Indicators and industry best practices for Social and Web
  • Great attention to detail and curiosity to uncover trends and insights
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
