Our Client

Based in Macquarie Park, our client provides cutting edge solutions to the telco industry across mobile security, mobile device management and digital identity management

The Role

Due to continued growth, this is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Sales. As Solution sales Manager, you will develop and engage with Channel Partners in the telecommunications industry to provide a strategic and customer centric approach

The role will see you: 
  • Develop sales strategy for the opportunity
  • Seek out new customer opportunities with both new and existing customers
  • Own and manage the commercial part of the bid to ensure profitable business partnerships
  • Key customer relationship management
  • Source new opportunities to help exceed revenue targets
  • Sales strategy to increase business revenue
  • KPI achievement
  • Develop and manage strategic customer communcication plan
  • Coordinate bid response towards the customer for a solution, utilising internal support Technical design and customer project management)
  • Regular reporting on activities and opportunities, revenue forecasting and budgeting
  • Customer engagement  - solution focused customised projects and joint evolution projects
  • Develop sales programs to attract new clients
  • Customer relationship management from middle to executive management level
  • Point of escalation for customer issues
  • Identify the projects with high sales growth and actively develop the business, securing the involvement and support of relevant internal resources
  • Identify strategic gaps between sales, customer service and customer requirements and support in developing and implementing solutions
About You
  • At least 5 years of experience in a solution sales / Channel role, selling into telecommunications carriers
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication skills with the ability to present and sell to Exec level
  • Proven track record of achieving sales success
  • Ability to develop sales strategy
  • Highly engaged, with the ability to develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
