Our client a leading government entity is currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Administrative Officers for a three month Temporary contract with possible extension.
  
The primary purpose of this role is to provide quality customer service and administrative support to reviewers and staff within the organisation.
  
Responsibilities in this position would include the following:-

  
  • Provide administrative support to Reviewers and staff of the department
  • Undertake preparation of case related information 
  • Draft and prepare correspondence, reports. file notes and related documentation
  • Collating and forwarding briefs for decision-makers
  • Display outstanding customer service both by telephone and face to face
  • Ability to prioritise and meet required deadlines  
  • Excellent data entry ability
  • Processing of applications
  • Apply knowledge of a diverse range of legislation and policies and procedures 
  • Responding to case specific enquiries

 The ideal candidates for these positions will have the following skills and attributes:-
  • Must be an Australian Citizen 
  • A law degree or currently studying law will be highly regarded
  • Minimum two years experience in an administrative / customer service position is essential 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly and display initiative
  • Team orientated
  • Able to work within set guidelines
  • Demonstrated Data Entry skills 
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
