The position 
An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join their IT department in a L1/L2 Support capacity. This is an autonomous role where you will be encouraged to generate ideas and opportunities geared towards your local market
Day to day tasks include-
  • Supporting internal staff and IT infrastructure across a larage geographical footprint in Melbourne (travel between sites will be required)
  • User support
  • Systems support
  • Preventative maintenance 
  • Troubleshooting issues
  • Implementing solutions
Required background/experience

You will need experience servicing and managing various operating systems in a large scale environment. To be successful in this role you will also need experience in the following areas
  • Demonstrable experience working within a Windows enrivonment (supporting Windows 7/10 and Windows Server 2008/2010/2016
  • Experience networking and the technologies associated
  • General Application Support experience 
  • An understanding of Active Directory and Windows related features and basic Office365 support 
  • Experience dealing with external service providers
  • Very strong customer service skills is a must
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to support all levels of all stakeholders
Desired Skills include 
  • Experience with virtualitsion technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • VOIP/SIP Experience
  • Building and supporting SOE
  • MS SQL Server
