- Provide technical leadership in planning and implementation of projects for business technology operations, configuration and migrations to SAAS, PAAS and IAAS.
- Respond to and resolve escalated Service Desk Level 2 & 3 issues and provide technical training to the Service Desk team to support and enhance team effectiveness.
- Liaise with vendors in order to support end to end systems administration and effective third-party service.
- Contribute to making technology solutions meet real world technology configurations to ensure the solution meets the requirements of the business.
- Contribute to resource planning and management including knowledge transfer and mentoring to a dynamic technical workforce consisting of permanent, contractor and vendor resources.
- Submit and execute systems changes within change management framework to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Contribute to the planning, developing, installation, configuration, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all business technology systems within the organisation.
- Conduct system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting and escalating issues, including proactive problem resolution and complex problem analysis as necessary, to maintain Reduce operational risk and improve availability of the business technology infrastructure by ensuring system access, monitoring, control, evaluation and documentation practices are maintained and adhered to.
- Develop, maintain and perform operational procedures and ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages.
- Collect and analyse incident and change data to identify emerging trends and assist with problem resolution to increase business technology availability for end users.
- Develop new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational procedures for system deployment, monitoring, operations and maintenance to maintain industry best practise
