Our client is Australia's largest privately-owned IT provider, headquartered in Port Melbourne. Work in brand new, attractive offices with the latest technologies in the Cloud and Managed Services team (architecture and product development).

Initial 6-month contract with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities:
  • Create proposals and statements of work to achieve successful project delivery
  • Manage delivery resources in the end-to-end management of hardware, software and systems to provide high quality and scalable managed services solutions
  • Manage project documents and specifications in accordance with delivery methodologies and standards
  • Work with Solution Architects and Designers to translate customer and business requirements into achievable project deliverables
  • Manage organisational change associated with projects
  • Work with sponsors and key stakeholders to plan and manage the impacts of change to all aspects of the business
  • Proactively identify, communicate and mitigate risks
  • Conduct quality assurance and peer reviews of project deliverables and systems, post-implementation project reviews and incident resolutions

You will have:
  • Ability to effectvely juggle high priority tasks
  • Clear and effective communication style
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to develop relationships and successfully manage stakeholders
  • Strong track record of delivering multiple projects on time, on budget and to the required standard
  • 5+ years of technology project management experience with a product background including cloud/XaaS architectures
  • Understanding of Private and Public cloud solutions
  • Strong knowledge of cloud, mobile technology and emerging trends in data centre and cloud compute, storage and data centre networking technologies
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of projects involving significant change to business processes including change management of people, processes and systems
  • ITIL fundamentals certification and PMI certification or equivalent qualifications (Prince II).
