 The Opportunity:

Work for a market leader in the Telecommunications sector in their Sydney office. My client is recruiting a number of consultants to support the sales/customer team to drive further growth in the Sydney market for a well known Telecommunications brand.  

Responsibilities:
 
  • Obtain new leads and set up qualified appointments for the sales team
  • Contact and schedule appointments within your target market
  • Document and track all lead generating activity
  • Perform outbound sales activities including lead follow up and qualification
  • Develop an in depth knowledge of the full suite of products and services to convey that knowledge to prospective customers
  • Develop a strong understanding of your target market to source new leads
  • Day to day management of the lead management
  • Participate and support product launches 
  • Contribute to developing and implementing a marketing lead generation pipeline
Experience and skills:
 
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years previous experience in lead generation / Inside Sales ideally in the IT or Telecommunications sector
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
  • Experience and understanding of the SMB market
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills
  • Superior organisational and planning skills
  • Willingness to learn about new products and develop a strong knowledge of key products and services
  • Strong experience in developing relations and ability to liaise with diverse range of stakeholders and clients 
  • Strong negotiator and influencer
  • High energy, self-motivated enthusiastic team player 
  • Be able to commit to a 5 week training course before commencing in the role
  • Work 1 out of 4 Saturdays
