Our Client

The Role

Our client is seeking a National Services Manager, responsible for 3 direct reports. The role has a number of key focusses:
  • Converting existing clients from time and materials to full-service contracts, with an individual focus across NSW and ACT
  • Working and investing in current Channel partners to build the channel business
  • Managing Service Sales Team nationally (2 in Melbourne and 1 in Brisbane)
There is an excellent opportunity to increase the services contracts within the current client patch which focuses on banking, data centres, government critical infrastructure and airports.

Key deliverables:
  • Manage Services Sales to achieve company financial growth plan
  • Develop and execute strategic 5 year plan
  • Manage internal sales team and channel network - designing and implementing the strategic sales plan and coach and mentor the team and measure performance
  • Manage and grow key accounts
About You
  • At least 6 years of experience in a services sales environment, with experience either mentoring or managing a team
  • A track record of success in achieving sales targets with an existing client base and channel partners
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable
  • Experience selling UPS isn't essential
  • Ability to drive performance and manage effectively, in a changing environment, with the ability to drive towards a vision
  • Ability to understand and influence customer expectations and deliver to them and negotiate effectively
  • Highly developed communications skills and experience working in a fast moving, complex environment.  
  • Experience managing stakeholders in a project environment, with highly developed conflict resolution skills
  • Must be resilient and tenacious with a drive to persevere
