Job Description

A leading Telco company require a Program Officer / Coordinator - PMO to assist the Network capacity and performance team in a 12-month day rate role.
 
This leading Telco business has continued go through a large transformation of work.  With several exciting projects now in hand the need for a highly capable and confident Program Coordinator with PMO experience is required to join their team.  In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing and delivering upon projects in a large transformative program of work.  You enjoy working in a fast paced and challenging role working with a collaborative and motivated team where you will define and report key measures of success for business-critical programs.

Responsibilities:

Define and report key measures of success for business-critical programs
Maintain and enhance appropriate program governance for priority programs teams, actively governing the integrated delivery schedules, including dependencies, progress updates and variance
Provide insights into program actual and forecasts performance against targets and objectives to inform management decisions and escalations
Work closely with program teams as well as the business stakeholders to maintain the program schedules
Identify and lead Initiatives to improve the overall quality of Program Management and Governance, clearly defining, documenting and agreeing scope and deliverables
Manage creation of new projects & dependencies; implementing the outcome of change management & high-level planning processes. Facilitate Change Forums across multiple delivery agents such as NPD (Infrastructure and Services), NetO NCP FTTN Delivery Identify, estimate and plan project tasks and inter-dependencies to meet objectives. Perform continuous risk management through identification, assessment, mitigation and assignment
Identify all stakeholders and secure resources needed
Manage resources to ensure adherence to the project plan and ensure key resources are available to deliver project commitments
Activity manage business reporting including weekly reporting and end of month reporting for NetO NCP FTTN programs including running weekly reports; collating & maintaining rollout planning data; and, managing data uploads
Perform proactive project performance management and problem solving
Deliver accurate and timely reporting and communication to internal and external stakeholders outlining status, risks, issues, and action plans
Governs Risks and issues across Program Work streams
Work effectively with business partners, vendors, work packages and the project team  

Core Requirements:

5+ years of experience in PMO and program management, within telecommunications solution development programs or projects, working across large teams to deliver against a diverse portfolio of responsibilities  
Lean Six Sigma training and project delivery experience
Proven and strong leadership experience and ability to liaise and influence senior stakeholders
Experience in using Agile / Scrum methodologies to assist teams in delivering outcomes
