A multinational e-commerce corporation based in Sydney CBD is looking for a Product Analyst to play a key role in the Product & Design team in designing a new customer journey.

Data is the voice of the customer at this multinational e-commerce corporation based in Sydney CBD. As a Product Analyst you will play an integral role in the Product and Design team, using both your creative and your analytical skills to facilitate the design of a new end-to-end customer journey.

To ensure data driven decision making in all parts of our development process, you will bring knowledge of best practices in experimentation and validation in the entire organization to a next level. We are looking for a creative, experienced, results-oriented product analyst that can both help us get the needed analyses done. You see the possibilities in all the data we have and can show the multidisciplinary journey teams how to use it to find the best opportunities to deliver on our customer-centric and achievement culture.

As a Product Analyst you will:
  • Setting up experiments
  • Validating the impact of decisions
  • Analyse customer behaviour, insights and market trends
  • Work with other product analysts, engineers, product managers and product designers
  • Make the best use of available data and build data-based product features
  • Help the overall team decide what data to gather and how to model it
  • Set-up, manage, maintain and own dashboards and reporting structures for operational metrics in your focus area
  • Tackle strategic challenges, maintain tracking requirements
  • Guide strategic response via advanced analytical methods
  • Manage and mentor a small team of product analyst
  • Drive an experimentation culture
 
Ideally you have:
  • More than 3 years of experience within the digital media analytics space
  • Proven ability in clearly defining a problem, collating the required information, analysing the results and synthesizing a compelling argument.
  • Very strong analytical, reporting and visualization skills
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics and SQL.
  • Experience with Hadoop (Pig, Hive, and/or Spark/Scala) and statistical analysis tools (R or Python)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to successfully work and partner across multiple functions in an organisation
  • The mindset to take initiative, go that extra mile when needed, act with integrity and celebrate success after achievements
