The Role 

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller who can demonstrate strong leadership qualities and the ability to support an Executive Leadership team by offering insights and financial advice 

Leading the Finance team your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Technical strength in process and operational improvement
  • Manage and lead a Finance team  
  • Analysing and interpreting financial results and providing commentary against budget/forecast
  • Month end close and preparation of monthly management accounts 
  • Half year and year end reporting 
  • Preparation of annual budgets 
  • Monthly and quarterly rolling forecasting 
  • Weekly cashflow forecasting 
  • Financial reporting
  • Collecting, interpreting and review of financial information  
  • Development of business plans 
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX experience essential (2009 preferred)

To be successful in this role you will have:-
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Financial Management (CPA or CA fully qualified)
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is essential 
  • Experience with management of upgrading of Microsoft Dynamics from 2009 to 2014 preferred 
  • Outstanding leadership skills in a change environment 
  • Group reporting and financial statement preparation 
  • Financial and tax audit experience 
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex data 
  • Exposure to BAS,GST and FBT
  • Developed three - way forecasts 
  • Strong understanding of statutory reporting obligations 
  • Tax and compliance expertise 
  • Advanced Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Power BI skills 
  • Highly organised and analytical
