Job Description

Our client a leading government entity is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Administrative / Customer Service Officer for a seven month Temporary contract.
  
The primary purpose of this role is to provide quality customer service and administrative support to reviewers and staff within the organisation.
  
Your major responsibilities in this position will include:- 
  • Provide administrative support to Reviewers and staff of the department
  • Manage hearings within the department 
  • Front Desk Reception and relief switchboard cover 
  • Excellent data entry ability
  • Ability to prioritise and meet required deadlines  
  • Stakeholder engagement 
  • Filing and general administrative duties 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and attributes:-
  • Must be an Australian Citizen  
  • Studying law or an interest in a legal environment will be highly regarded
  • Minimum two years experience in an administrative / customer service position is essential 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly and display initiative
  • Team orientated
  • Able to work within set guidelines
  • Must be physically fit as Hearings are across 3 floors 
  • Demonstrated Data Entry skills 
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
