Job Description

You will be working for a global market leader  as the Fulfillment Center Learning Area Specialist you are an active member of the Leadership Team.  You will drive and support site performance and network initiatives.  As the successful candidates will have a proven operational execution track record.  You are creative and have a true hands-on approach, as well as strong knowledge of warehousing/manufacturing.

The Learning Area Specialist will:
  • Actively manage a team of training specialists including their deployment, development and productivity.
  • Ensure that the work of the team and individuals is continually aligned to meet internal customer's needs.
  • Act as a proactive and productive liaison/partner with the corporate AU Operations Learning Department consistently seeking to make a positive impact on key business safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience metrics.
Employee Development:
  • Foster the development and growth of employees (mentoring, teaching)
  • Create and implement training programs for associates, managers, trainers
  • Facilitate training classes; communicate policies and procedures to managers and new employees as needed
  • Ensure and drive best practices standardization across all departments and sites
  • Ensure network standard training programs are implemented and consistently utilized as required in the fulfillment center
Execution & Analysis:
  • Ensure that training is tracked and recorded, including progress and skill sets
  • Manage training content and ensure execution of programs around Workforce Development and Associate Leadership Development
  • Track and manage site's Continuous Improvement activities and manage communication through the Leadership Steering Committee
  • Analyze and track Trainer/Learning Coordinator Standard Work to ensure site is executing to the plan
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience coaching and delivering messages related to performance
  • Experience working with and delivering training/information to peers, hourly associates as well as exempt personnel
