Job Description

Our client a leading government entity is currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Administrative Officers for a six month Temporary contract with possible extension.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide quality customer service and administrative support the board members within the organisation.

Responsibilities in this position would include the following:-
 
  • Provide administrative support to Reviewers and staff of the department
  • Creation, processing and finalisation of applications
  • Data entry, document scanning and uploading of files
  • Generation of correspondence 
  • Daily contact with legal practitioners, migration agents and government agencies 
  • Undertake preparation of case related information 
  • Collating and forwarding briefs for decision-makers
  • Display outstanding customer service both by telephone and face to face
  • Responding to case specific enquiries
The ideal candidates for these positions will have the following skills and attributes:-
  • Must be an Australian Citizen 
  • Experience in an administrative / customer service position is essential 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly and display initiative
  • Team orientated
  • Able to work within set guidelines
  • Demonstrated Data Entry skills 
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
