Job Description

Our client a leading government entity is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Administrative / Customer Service Officer for a 4 month Temporary contract.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide quality customer service and administrative support to reviewers and staff within the organisation.

Your major responsibilities in this position will include:- 
  • Provide administrative support to Reviewers and staff of the department
  • Manage hearings within the department 
  • Relief switchboard cover now and then
  • Display outstanding customer service both by telephone and face to face
  • Ability to prioritise and meet required deadlines 
  • Excellent data entry ability
  • Archiving of files, the files are heavy so need to be physically fit
  • Filing and general administrative duties 
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and attributes:-
  • Must be an Australian Citizen  
  • Minimum two years experience in an administrative / customer service position is essential 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly and display initiative
  • Must be physically fit, as you will be lifting and moving around heavy files
  • Team orientated
  • Able to work within set guidelines
  • Demonstrated Data Entry skills 
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
