About the role

This is a 12 month contract - expected to start mid March

They are seeking to appoint a Senior L&D Consultant to support the merger of 2 businesses

This role will see you working across two Program streams, Group Risk and Group Claims and be responsible for:
  • Assessing the training requirements across multiple business functions, including conducting training needs analysis.
  • Creating and executing a L&D Strategy and Plan as part of an end to end Change Management Strategy and Plan.
  • Delivering quality learning solutions for two streams delivering the solutions to migrate the Group Risk business from the 2 organisations

Key Role

Lead design and delivery of key training initiatives with a focus on customer and strategic business needs
Collaborate extensively across business stakeholders - Change Manager and internal customers to gather and define training requirements and learning needs to then assess suitable learning solutions
Provide expert L&D advice for the design of blended learning solutions using modern learning design techniques to build a learning culture
Develop programs that build capability
Deliver training plan
Evaluations
Support transfer of training to BAU

About You
  • You will be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of L&D, as well as change management principles, methodologies and tools to work in an agile manager
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • 5+ years in L&D delivering significant blended learning solutions and successfully assess and embed learning
  • Experience in system implementations and transformation/ large scale business change within financial services
  • Experience in instructional design
  • Highly developed strategic communications and stakeholder relationships skills at all levels - internal, external
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders at the highest level
  • Comfortable being hands-on, nimble and able to manage ambiguity
  • Proven capacity to effectively manage time and priorities
  • Experience in Life Insurance highly desirable
