Job Description

Business Analyst required to play a critical role in driving the requirements definition, transition and ongoing support of the Pensions and Investments product build project.  

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the product requirements and manage sign-off of deliverables
  • Analysis of impacted systems and business processes
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops
  • Perform source system data analysis and perform Gap analysis to determine requirements for product admin systems changes
  • Manage and engage with all relevant technology and business stakeholders
  • Requirements analysis, prioritisation and negotiation
  • Building relationships with key business stakeholders including business partners and the data migration vendor
  • Supporting test analysts and UAT testers on test planning and execution of QA testing
  • Facilitating business change and driving continual process and operational improvements
  • Assist in designing, planning and implementation of business solution for required changes.
The role will require: 
  • 5+ years of BA experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience with Life insurance product admin systems / mainframe platform would be an advantage
  • A strong desire to deliver solutions to support the achievement of business objectives
  • Experience in writing requirements documents, including user stories
  • Knowledge in one or more business domain/s relevant to the life insurance industry e.g. products, finance; etc
  • Experience with large projects and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience across a broad range of technologies including web applications, mainframe, workflow applications, etc
  • Experience in agile and/or waterfall delivery techniques
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and facilitations skills
  • A strong team work morale, striving to make a difference
  • A degree and/or relevant professional qualifications
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced and changing environment
