Job Description

This initial 6 month contract will have the successful candidate assist with the bid strategy, build the bid plan, manage pricing, deal evaluation, regulatory approval, bid documentation and bid presentation.
This position within the new business unit will require exceptional stakeholder management at all levels and key responsibilities will include:- 
  • Manage overall project management of a qualified Bid/Opportunity from qualification to close 
  • Tracking and reporting of deal progress and all administration activities within the Bid cycle 
  • Manage virtual bid teams and stakeholders 
  • Manage stakeholders and negotiate around road blocks that arise 
  • Conduct post bid reviews and initiate the improvement of the bid process 
Experience Required: 
  • Experience in a large Telecommunications or ICT organisation 
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen with a solid understanding of legal construct
  • Extensive experience in leading virtual teams in a matrixed sales environment 
  • Experience working in a fast moving, complex environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Exceptional communication skills 
  • Fast and agile learner with the ability to multi task 
  • Advanced MS Project & MS PowerPoint, and Competent MS Word & MS Excel
