Job title - Senior Technical Business Analyst

Primary purpose of the role:

Support all aspects of the migration of data from the chris21 payroll (to be decommissioned) system to the new SAP SuccessFactors Core HR/Payroll system as part of the Human Capital Management Solution (HCMS) implementation project as part of the People, Technology and Process (PTP) program. In addition to this, this role will also support the HR data integration of systems with the new SAP SuccessFactors system.

Key accountabilities:
  • Identify stakeholders and collect business, functional, non-functional, & data requirements.
  • Define business needs, assess the capability gap, and define the solution approach.
  • Collect and document “as-is” processes, application features/integrations, and data constructs.
  • Define and document “to-be” processes, application features/integrations, and data constructs.
  • Define data conversion requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business and supporting enabling areas, both internally and externally, to that ensure all business analysis artifacts are fit for purpose and deliver the desired outcome.
  • Implement data conversion requirements.
  • Provide input during test design and review test cases.
  • Ensure solutions developed as design, and drive the resolution of defects.
  • Participate in go-live activity to ensure a successful production environment.
Essential requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years in Information Technology, preferably 3 years in Data Migration in HR System implementation projects.
  • Experience with medium to large (3,000+ user) organisation.
  • Experience in running data validation in source and target systems as part of data migration.
  • Experience in regression testing of downstream systems affected by migrated data.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and effectively communicate required actions and timelines.
Additional must have skills:
- Extract, Transform and prepare load files for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Payroll implementation
- Functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll
- HR data experience
- Hands on experience manipulating large data sets in Excel
- Hands on data validation experience using reports to compare with load files
- Attention to detail
