A leading Government Agency is seeking an experienced  Claims Manager with Mental Health and Workers Compensation experience to manage the efficient and effective implementation and delivery of claims services relating to mental health.

Key Responsibilities:- 
  • Initiate, manage and monitor specific tasks and projects improve processes
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with frontline staff
  • Manage the resolution of complex or unusual treatment and service requests for workers with mental health problems
  • Effective claims management 
  • Prepare internal and external strategic and operational documents 
  • Assist in the resolution of escalated issues relating to workers with serious injuries
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
  • Understanding of the management of claims in an empathetic manner
  • Understanding of the legislation and regulatory framework relevant to Workers Insurance
  • Experience in the management of mental health conditions in an insurance or clinical setting
  • Experience in personal injury insurance (Workers Compensation preferred)
  • Demonstrated empathy and resilience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
