A leading Government Agency is seeking an experienced Claims Manager with Whole Person Impairment (WPI) experience  to plan, develop and coordinate best practice injury management and whole person impairment practices within their organisation. 

Key Responsibilities:- 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the development of whole person impairment practices and procedures
  • Provide advice and recommendations to Scheme partners and Return to Work Solutions team on any changes to the assessment practices and procedures 
  • Monitor scheme partners WPI quality assurance process 
  • Implement policy and procedures that prevent unnecessary disputes 
  • Participate in audits as required 
  • Lead, manage and implemt projects to address specific elements of injury management 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:- 
  • Comprehensive understanding of NSW workers insurance legislation 
  • Demonstrated claims management background
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health field combined with practical experience
  • A broad range of workers compensation and personal injury claims experience.
  • Experience in injury management, rehabilitation and general claims practices
  • Excellent relationship management, interpersonal and leadership skills
