Job Description

Be responsible for the efficient management of projects within budget and timeframe whilst adhering to high quality of delivery. This Government division offer expertise in ICT whilst supporting a larger Government agency to ensure strategies are implemented effectively


  • Provide leadership and direction to staff and effectively manage operational issues to ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focused work culture 
  • Integration and balance of the overall project management functions of scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk and procurement to deliver the project objectives that are aligned with organisational goals, strategies and objectives
  • Develop effective communication strategies, resource plans and reporting structures
  • Ensure IT solutions are technically and functionally successful to meet business requirements and compliant with technical standards (including IT secrutiy and change control)
  • Commitment to existing PRINCE2 methodologies

Requirements for the role;

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, managing a range of small to medium projects, overseeing major aspects of end-eo-end project management and implementation 
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Project and Visio
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business partners and vendors to support the implementation of new products, processes and services
  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing project and operational team members with the goal of achieving successful project outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills- creating formal documentation and the abililty to perform effective presentations to team members and stakeholders
