Job Description

Our client is a respected brand in global Telecommunications and lead the way in mobility solutions. They are managing the mobile network of one of Australia largest mobile cariers across Australia. They  are growing and need an experienced Regional Field Operations Manager to manage a multi-faceted team and own the Telecom Implementation process of a Telecommunications Field Managed Services 

As the Regional Field Operations & Services Manager you will be accountable for executing operational delivery for Field Operations. Field Operations consists of non-centralised activities, primarily maintenance & upgrades and includes the following functions; Telecom, i.e. Fixed & Mobile, and non-Telecom functions, preventive maintenance of mobile networks. 

The Main responsibility to ensure smooth operational continuity and best management practices for Field Service Management.

Forecasting and Management of Resource and Capability.
Managing Field teams of Techs, Riggers, Site Controllers, Field Managers, PMO resources
Ensures Field Operations processes and procedures are enforced, regularly reviewed and updated
Own the Drop of Point process working closely with the logistics team and assume responsibility for efficient ordering of all Telecom Implementation equipment and site materials
Ensures that Field Operations delivery management is based on factual and verified Volumes and forecasts e.g. Trouble Tickets, Work Orders, Network Element/Site count (for the applicable part of the project scope)
Work closely within a team including daily progress and project meetings and report to the project manager regarding changes to original implementation planning

Controlling and optimising services delivery performance to SLA/OLA, time, scope, quality)

Controlling, reporting and optimising services delivery in alignment with relevant Project Management processes e.g. time management, cost management, scope management.

Provides Field Operations reporting to Service Business Managers and is responsible for all Field Operations reporting including supporting outage reporting and management of follow-up actions
Supports 3rd Party SLA Management
Monitors and controls services delivery with operational KPIs and SLAs
Responsible for Field Operations Budgeting and Cost Adherence
Coordinates services delivery and related operational tasks, e.g.
Managing all Field Operations issues
Undertakes special assignments to resolve Network Operations issues

Co-ordinating services delivery stakeholders and ensuring service delivery capability

Co-coordinating and liaising with relevant stakeholders, e.g.
External partners (e.g. subcontractors, contractors, 3rd party) 
Responsible for Field Operations escalations and escalation liaison
Strong relationship skills working with key contacts within the customer organisation, our client's team and associated sub-contractors.
